How to Become a Driving Instructor

Before training to become a driving instructor, you will need a DBS check. Once you have one, you can apply to become a driving instructor with DVSA. You will then need to take the ADI Part 1 (theory test) and ADI Part 2 (driving test), both of which we will guide you through and ensure you are ready to take. You are also required to take the ADI Part 3 (instructor test) and again, we help you to prepare for this in a variety of ways. Once you have passed all three tests, you are ready to work as a driving instructor.
