About Andy
In Andy's own words
There is a big difference between learning to pass a test and learning how to truly drive. My goal is to bridge that gap by providing a supportive, high-trust environment where you feel empowered from the moment you first turn the key.
I specialise in helping pupils overcome the nerves that often come with getting behind the wheel. Whether we're starting from scratch in a car park or mastering complex junctions, my teaching style is consistently calm, patient and encouraging. I believe a light-hearted atmosphere is the best way to build focus and genuine road confidence.
I've been driving for over 30 years — I grew up in a motoring house, my dad raced bikes and my grandad was a regional van driver who used to take me along on his long runs to Bristol. Off the clock I'm a big gamer (yes, racing games — I drive all day then get home and drive some more). The thing I love most? Teaching the technical rural roads round here. For me, that's the pure essence of driving.
